Mobile App – click here
The Ramapo Catskill Library System mobile app lets you locate and search your library catalog wherever you are. If you are a library card holder, you can locate books, movies, music and more with easy search features designed for mobile devices.
Computers are available for use by children, teens and adults. You may use library computer workstations or log on to library or personal laptops to access the Internet or use word processing and presentation software. You may download files to a removable storage device like a flash drive or disk. You must provide your own headphones.
The Library uses a computer reservation system for computer signup. Using a valid Newburgh library card or Newburgh Internet Pass, adults may sign up for two sessions per day on the desktop computers, either for 20 minutes and/or 60 minutes.
Using a valid library card, children and teens are allowed to use the computers one session per day. Adults with clean Newburgh library cards can use a laptop in the library for two active 1-hour sessions per day. To borrow a laptop, you must present your library card and photo ID. Laptops are checked out for 3 hours to allow time to pick up, set up, print and return the laptop. The daily fine begins to accrue 1 hour after the time due. A laptop is considered to be lost at the end of the business day on which it was checked out. Fines or lost materials will prevent you from using a library computer.
Computer use is on a first-come, first-served basis. No advance reservations are accepted. Please read the Library’s Internet Use Policy for more information. Designated computers offer access to the library catalog and electronic databases. No reservations are required.
Printing is available from library computers and from library laptops and personal laptops; black and white copies are 15 cents and color copies are 50 cents per page. You may use mobile or wireless printing both at the Library and from home or elsewhere, as long as you have an Internet connection. Print from your desktop or laptop computer or from your tablet or smart phone. Click here for more information on using wireless printing.
Public copiers may be found on the main and second level of the library. Copies are 15 cents per page.
