Homework Help

Need help with your Homework? The Newburgh Free Library has several ways you can get help.

In-Person: Children in grades 1-6 can drop-in to the Story Hour Room at the Newburgh Free Library to receive help with their homework from Newburgh School District teachers. Monday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. from September 24, 2012 through May 23, 2013 when school is in session. No registration is required. Before you come to the library, especially if the weather is bad, check the Calendar of Events for the most up to date information and to be sure Homework Help is open!

Homework Hotline: A website with helpful learning links and call in help for New York State students.  For DIAL-A-TEACHER HOMEWORK HELP, call: 1-888-986-2345 toll free on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.

Books and Research: If you are looking for information on a topic, try searching the library catalog, including the subscription databases. You’ll find lots of material you can borrow or read for your research.
