Newburgh Girls Code Club

Newburgh Girls Code Club (NGCC) is a youth leadership development after-school program focused on educating young women on coding and the career opportunities that come with STEM learning.

In this club, you will learn:

  • What is computer science and who are computer scientists?
  • Writing code
  • Pair programming
  • How computers can be used to create new technology
  • You’ll try on a bunch of different coding “hats,” like Designer, Problem Solver, and Coder
  • Conventional & unconventional career paths for coders & programmers
